The Plasser Ballast Regulator SSP 203 is a heavy duty, ballast regulating and dressing machine. The SSP 203 is specially designed and constructed for the stringent requirements of high density, high tonnage railways.

The machine is equipped with a fully adjustable x-type ballast plow, and unique shoulder plows that allows the SSP 203 to quickly and efficiently move larger amounts of ballast than conventional ballast regulators. The SSP 203 can easily transfer ballast from toe line to shoulder in either direction. The ballast broom conveyor allows excess ballast to be distributed directly to either or both shoulders.
